Sump Pump Installation

Not sure if you need a sump pump? Imagine your basement or crawl space in a bad storm. When your home begins to flood, physics says that the water will rise and reach every corner of your space. But your sump pump says no.

With a dependable sump pump on your side, you can take matters into your own hands. No more basement flooding or waiting with fear for the next heavy rainfall. It’s time to protect your home or business once and for all with Dino & Rocco's Balesano Waterproofing.

What's A Sump Pump, And Why Do I Need One?

A sump pump is a crucial component of any waterproofing system. A basement drainage system will capture water before it can flood your living space. But where does the water go from there? That’s when your sump pump comes in. The water will enter the sump pit and begin to rise. The float switch in your sump pump will detect the rising water and pump it through the discharge line away from your home.

Zoeller Sump Pumps

We installed the Zoeller 50 Series - Model 53, which is Zoeller's professional grade 3/10 horsepower sump pump. The pump can be upgraded to 1/2 horsepower if needed in certain situations. The Model 53 is a cast-iron, corrosion-resistant pump that is water and dust-tight, and has a 3-year warranty.

Battery Backup Systems

Since all primary pumps are connected to your electrical system, we highly recommend a battery backup pump in case the power goes out. This dual system is your best bet for protecting your space through all kinds of weather, power, or no power.
