Meet the Owner - Dino Balesano
Dino’s journey with the family’s waterproofing company began in high school. From the outset, he developed a deep respect for the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define every project, learning the value of quality work. Over the years, Dino’s dedication to the waterproofing trade has made him an integral part of the team, driving the company’s success with his hands-on experience and strong work ethic.
Dino graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University in Florida, where he was also the starting shortstop for the university’s baseball team. After graduation, he returned to Connecticut, where he enrolled in and graduated from the CT Mason’s Union Certificate Program, specializing in a wide range of masonry techniques. As an owner, with a combination of business insight and technical expertise, Dino is focused on expanding the company’s reach while upholding the core values that have made the local, family-owned business a leader in the industry – providing exceptional waterproofing and masonry services with a commitment to quality, serving the entire state of Connecticut.
When Dino’s not focused on advancing his waterproofing company with innovative business growth strategies and cutting-edge waterproofing solutions, he enjoys playing golf and cheering on his favorite New England sports teams. Dino’s passion for both his personal and professional life drives his commitment to excellence, helping to ensure that every waterproofing project is completed with the same dedication and care that he applies to everything he does.
Meet the Owner – Rocco Balesano
Rocco’s career in the construction industry began in 1981 with the local laborer’s union. In 1993, he was recruited by a family friend who owned a reputable waterproofing business in Connecticut. After joining the team, Rocco quickly became one of the company’s top production foremen and lead salesmen, showcasing his expertise in waterproofing services. Building on his skills and industry knowledge, Rocco took the next step in 1995 and established his own business, offering high-quality waterproofing solutions to both home and business owners in Connecticut at competitive prices. Over the years, Rocco has successfully completed thousands of waterproofing projects, ensuring clients enjoy dry basements and peace of mind with every job.
When Rocco isn’t busy shaping the future of his waterproofing company and providing exceptional service to customers throughout the state of Connecticut, you can find him cheering on his favorite sports teams with his family. These activities provide him with joy, focus, and inspiration—values he brings to his work every day.
Meet the Office Administrator & Bookkeeper – Rose Balesano
Rose has been a dedicated and invaluable team member since its founding in 1995. With over two decades of experience in customer service and bookkeeping, she has been instrumental in maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional client care and precision in financial management. Rose has consistently contributed to shaping the high standards of service excellence that Dino & Rocco’s Waterproofing is known for. Her expertise in fostering strong customer relationships and providing efficient bookkeeping solutions has made her a cornerstone of the company’s success.
Outside of work, Rose enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, and spending time tending to her garden.
